There will be new faces at the Santiago Bernabeu for next season. Real Madrid have completed the signing of the defender Antonio Rudiger and the agreement with the German was reached after he reduced his salaruial demands, ‘AS’ reports.
The current Chelsea footballer’s contract expires in July and he will move to the club as a free agent. In fact, Madrid have now thought about when his arrival will be made official, something which will be decided shortly.
Madrid are thinking of making it official the weekend of 21st and 22nd May as Madrid will play their last game against Betis and Chelsea will put an end to their Premier League campaign.
This would be case if Ancelotti’s men do not make the Champions League final on 28th May. If they make the final, the annoucement would be made after the game. Mbappe is the other top player Real Madrid want.
Rudiger was asking for 12 million euros a year which Real Madrid turned down. Now, it seems like he has reduced his salarial demands and he is set to join a club who knocked his side out in the Champions League quarter-finals.
