“Ndidi gives me freedom to go forward “, says Belgian star Youri Tielemans

Belgian midfielder Youri Tielemans has described Wilfred Ndidi as an excellent midfielder with good understanding of the game.

Tielemans and the Nigerian are among the constant names in Leicester City’s starting line up and they have struck a perfect understanding.

In a chat with Football daily, the Belgian star praised Ndidi and stated that he’s more comfortable playing alongside the former Genk star.

“He’s got that reading of the game, where he can just get the ball back. He’s also got the long legs, which helps him to pick up the ball from anyone.

“He’s also very strong physically, although he looks skinny,” Tielemans said.

“He does give me that freedom. I know that with him in that position, I can be more comfortable going forward,” Tielemans added.

Tielemans and Ndidi are expected to resume their midfielder partnership when Leicester City entertain Brighton and Hove Albion at the Amex later today.
