OFFICIAL: Dani Alves returns to Barcelona
After the return of Xavi Hernandez, in his case as a coach, Barcelona have made official the return as a player of another of the club’s legends who was part of the best Barca in history.
The Catalan giants made official on Friday 12th November the signing of the experienced Brazilian full-back Dani Alves, who at 38 years of age returns to Barca five years after his departure.
Barca have not indicated whether there is any clause in the agreement with the Brazilian that could extend his contract, although journalist Fabrizio Romano has indicated that there is a possibility that Dani Alves’ contract could be extended for a further season, until the end of the 2022-23 season.
Similarly, the team presided over by Joan Laporta stated in a letter that they will soon be informed of the details of his presentation as a first team player who will gain experience, experience and, above all, a winning mentality, something much needed these days at the Camp Nou, which is going through a delicate moment at all levels.
