‘Le Parisien’: Cristiano offers himself to PSG

Cristiano Ronaldo, despite Erik ten Hag not wanting him to, is trying to find a new team to leave Manchester United. Paris Saint-Germain is one of his favourites and that is why he has asked Jorge Mendes to make him an offer. He would share the front line with other top players like Neymar or Kylian Mbappe.

‘Le Parisien’ revealed the contact between the Portuguese and the bosses of the Parc des Princes, which will probably come to nothing. The club have no room for him, so it does not intend to accept the proposal of the Red Devil. Maybe, in the not too distant future, there will be room for him to join their project.

The key may be the player’s salary, although the Parisian budget has plenty of leeway to cover it. Perhaps the idea of those in charge is not to tighten the noose with the ‘Financial Fair Play’. Representatives of other competitions or clubs such as Javier Tebas, president of LaLiga, have already asked to study in depth whether the French club respect the financial limits.

It is not the first time that the name of PSG has emerged as a possible destination for Cristiano Ronaldo. The difference is that, on this occasion, it is because he himself has asked Jorge Mendes to offer him. He has never been in Ligue 1, so perhaps he would welcome a debut in the French top flight.
