Benzema’s hat-trick and Vinicius secure the three points for Madrid

Football was back at the Santiago Bernabeu for the first time in 560 days, and with 48,000 fans in the stands, what a great night for every Madrid supporter. Real Madrid came back from behind twice after to earn the three points. A sublime Benzema who scored a hat-trick and gave out an assist was without any doubt the man of the match.
Celta took the lead twice and looked dangerous on the counters, Madrid on the other side were the dominant team from the first minute but were behind not once, but twice. Celta’s early goals made Real’s defence look shaky, however unlike other seasons, Madrid were lethal on attack. Benzema scored a hat-trick and gave an assist. Vinicius, who had a sensational game, was involved in one of the special moments of the match, when he celebrated with the crowd. Camavinga scored his first Real Madrid goal six minutes into his debut.
Santi Mina opened the scoring in the 3rd minute of the game after a defensive mistake by Nacho and Casemiro, but 20 minutes later, Benzema hit back with a volley coming off Valverde’s cross. Madrid’s joy didn’t last long as Cervi tapped in the rebound after his own backheel shot, a bizarre goal that took Celta Vigo 2-1 up into half-time.
Benzema scored again one minute into the second half. A lovely header after Miguel Gutierrez’s precise cross. Great game by the youngster who played as a starter in front of the club’s captain, Marcelo.
