Camavinga, called up by the France U21 team

Sylvain Ripoll, head coach of the France U21 national team, has called up Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga to his squad list to face Ukraine and Serbia.

The French player will take part in the two qualifying matches for the U21 European Championship finals in Georgia and Romania between 9th June and 2nd July 2023.

On 8th October, the team managed by Ripoll will face Ukraine at the Francis-Le-Blé stadium in Brest (France) and on the 12th of the same month they will face Serbia at the Stadion FK Partizan in Belgrade. At the moment, France are second in Group H with four points, two behind Ukraine.

Ripoll’s squad includes goalkeepers Bajic (Saint-Étienne), Dietsch (Seraing) and Meslier (Leeds); defenders Bade (Rennes), Badiashile (Monaco), Bard (Nice), Gusto (Lyon), Kalulu (Milan), Saliba (Marseille) and Truffert (Rennes); the midfielders Beka Beka (Lokomotiv Moscow), Camavinga (Real Madrid), Caqueret (Lyon), Chotard (Montpellier), Diop (Monaco), Le Fée (Lorient), Thuram (Nice); and the forwards Adli (Leverkusen), Antiste (Spezia), Cherki (Lyon), Gouiri (Nice) and Kalimuendo (Lens).
