“I hope to make the same history with Messi as we did at Barca”

Neymar is determined to succeed at PSG, and to do so alongside his friend Leo Messi. He said he was delighted to be reunited with him and is confident that they will once again achieve great success together.

The Brazilian star said at a promotional event for one of his sponsors. “I am very happy to have Messi at PSG. He is a crack, a genius,” he said.

“He’s my friend and when you have friends by your side things go better and everything is calmer. I hope to make the same history with him as I did with him at Barcelona,” added Neymar.

Questioned about his other teammates at PSG, Neymar singled out two. “I’ve been surprised by two. Mbappe and Verratti. Mbappe because he’s very quick, he’s young, he’s a great crack,” he revealed.

“Verratti too. I knew he was a great player, but not so spectacular. For sure, he’s one of the best midfielders I’ve played alongside Xavi and Iniesta,” Ney also said.
